*A Vontade draws it’s inspiration from the utilitarian aspects of classic US and European Military, workwear and sportswear items. With meticulous attention paid to the smallest details they strive to create a garment that still has worth and relevance with the passing of time and developing still greater character with wear. Designed by Kazuyuki Yamakawa and always made in Japan.
Charcoal Single Laxman Coat
This knee-length raglan long coat is designed with original materials. The material is an original serge made by alternating linen and cotton threads in the weft and weaving them together at a high density with British wool as the warp. It has a single front with genuine buffalo horn buttons set slightly deeper and a roomy A-line silhouette with a fully lined finish. This coat has a unique design with hand warmer pockets positioned for easy access and patch pockets sewn in with a centre stitch so that they overlap. The product is finished by washing and drying in the sun, taking advantage of the difference in shrinkage of each thread to create a fuller look.
60% Wool, 22% Linen, 18% Cotton
